What a strange summer this has been! Lots of heat, but only fleeting rain. We get the wind, thunder, and lightning and then maybe 10 drops of rain. In spite of this, the vineyard is doing well and because of this harvest 2010 is beginning very early. The intense heat has matured the grapes much more quickly than usual, especially the white grapes. We hope you are all having a great summer and that we will see many of you at our Harvest Prevue on August 21 and 22. Get your questions about grape growing ready for the vineyard discussion time.
