SPRING NEWSLETTER

            Spring is here with its many quirks in temperature.  Fortunately, the April frost thus far has not damaged any of the crop.  It would be nice not to have a late frost this year, but we can get one into the beginning of May so we can't relax yet.

    So nice to see many of our club members at our Spring Barrel Tasting Open House.  The weather was a mixed bag as usual with warm, sunny days and cool, cloudy, and rainy days.  We hope to see more of you at the Montpelier Wine Festival May 3 & 4.

    New wine is being bottled this month for release in the fall. The drought last summer gave us an excellent crop of grapes. We're very pleased with the quality of the 2007 wines.

    Enjoy the nice spring weather and drink Autumn Hill wines.
